Why a VPS

Deploy Debian or Ubuntu
Install Docker or systemd units the same way you would at home. You have root.
Point DNS at the IPv4
Every plan includes a dedicated address. Terminate TLS with Caddy or Nginx.
Copy data off before upgrades
The platform does not take snapshots. Copy Compose state off the server before a bump that might not start. Transfer is a 2 TB account pool plus 500 GB per server.

Which plan fits a homelab stack?

Can I run Vaultwarden, Pi-hole, and *arr on one VPS?
Yes. Full root means Docker Compose or systemd units are ordinary work. Size RAM for the heaviest service, usually the media stack.
How does transfer work for homelab downloads?
General Compute includes a 2.5 Gbps port. Network Optimized includes a 10 Gbps port. Transfer is a separate account pool: 2 TB included per account, plus 500 GB for each server, shared across the pool. Extra transfer is $3.00/TB per calendar month, whether you add Extra Bandwidth blocks in advance or usage goes beyond the pool. Bought mid-month, blocks are charged for the days remaining.
Can homelab services stay off the public internet?
Yes. Deploy a server without a public IPv4 and attach it to a virtual network. Reach it from the browser console, or from another of your servers on the same VNet (typically a dual-homed firewall). There is no platform SNAT and no internet path unless you route through your own guest.
