How does billing work?
VPS plans bill hourly from prepaid account credit. Add credit via card, wallet, crypto, or ACH from the client dashboard.
What operating systems are supported?
Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Alpine Linux, FreeBSD, Windows, and pfSense are available at deploy time.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. We generally consider a prorated refund of unused account credit when the request is made within seven calendar days of the account's first purchase or when exceptional circumstances prevent practical use of the service. Any refund is issued at the discretion of LayerOne staff.
How do I contact support?
Open a ticket from the client dashboard or use the public contact form. Platform monitoring and ticket intake run 24/7.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. Pick a larger plan from the dashboard when your workload needs more headroom. Billing moves to the new hourly rate right away, and the extra CPU, RAM, and disk are applied on your next restart.
Where is my data stored?
VPS disks live on Enterprise SAS SSD storage in the Tampa metro data center unless otherwise noted.
How does bandwidth work?
General Compute includes a 2.5 Gbps port. Network Optimized includes a 10 Gbps port. Transfer is a separate account pool: 2 TB included per account, plus up to 500 GB for each server per UTC calendar month, earned in proportion to time provisioned and shared across the pool. Stopped and suspended servers keep earning instance credits; destroying a server stops new credits, with earned transfer retained until the monthly reset. Extra transfer is $3.00/TB per calendar month, whether you add Extra Bandwidth blocks in advance or usage goes beyond the pool. Bought mid-month, blocks are charged for the days remaining.
Do you offer IPv6?
IPv6 is on the roadmap and is not available yet. Every VPS includes a dedicated IPv4 address by default. Private-only deploy is optional and has no internet path.
Do you offer backups or snapshots?
Yes. Buy backup storage from Images at $1.00 per 10 GB per month, billed hourly from account credit. Snapshots restore only the source server. Backups can deploy a new VPS. Canceling takes effect on the 1st and deletes every copy. Still copy anything you cannot replace off the server yourself.
Do you offer private virtual networks?
Yes. Every account can create isolated virtual networks (VNets) from Network in the client portal. Members on the same VNet can talk to each other. The platform blocks traffic entering or leaving the VNet. There is no platform NAT. An account can create 10 virtual networks by default; contact support if you need more.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, Amazon Pay, Alipay, and USD stablecoins: USDC on Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Base, and Tempo; USDP for US-based transactions on Ethereum and Solana; and USDG for US-based transactions on Ethereum. US bank transfer (ACH) is available for account credit top-ups. PayPal is available for one-time credit purchases and monthly credit subscriptions.
