LayerOne, LLC is a Florida limited liability company selling KVM VPS hosting from its own hardware in a carrier-neutral data center in the Tampa, FL metro area. The company is registered with the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations under document number L26000401104. Every instance we sell comes with full root access, always-on L3/L4 DDoS mitigation, Enterprise SAS SSD storage, and one set of prices: the rate on the public pricing page is the rate on your invoice. Billing runs hourly against prepaid account credit, so nothing renews behind your back and nothing keeps charging for a server you already destroyed.
We built LayerOne because so much of the budget hosting market sells capacity it does not have and support it cannot staff. Our answer is deliberately unexciting. Performance you can plan around, invoices with nothing buried in them, and an engineer reading every ticket that comes in. We own the machines your instances run on, and we publish a status page and a looking glass that anyone can check without an account.

We chose the name because we own layer one.
Layer 1 is the physical layer of the stack: the metal, the drives, the optics, the cross connects. That is the layer we bought outright, and it is the reason the rest of this page can promise anything at all.
No upstream to blame
Most low-cost hosts rent capacity from a larger provider and resell it. When that provider oversells a node or drops a route, the reseller can only file a ticket and wait alongside you. We own the hypervisors, so a problem on this platform is ours to fix and ours to explain.
We set the limits ourselves
We spec the CPUs, the memory ratio, and the Enterprise SAS SSD arrays, and we decide how many customers share a node. Capacity planning is a decision we get to make rather than a number handed down to us.
Hands on the hardware
A failed drive or a bad NIC is a parts swap in a facility our team can walk into, not an escalation into somebody else's queue. Adding capacity works the same way: we buy it, rack it, and turn it up.
Owned cost, flat price
Hardware we already own carries no per-hour margin for someone else. That is what lets us bill hourly from prepaid credit, publish every rate on the pricing page, and leave off the surprise bandwidth line item.
