Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about LayerOne VPS billing, operating systems, DDoS protection, refunds, locations, and support.

Frequently asked questions

How does billing work?

VPS plans bill hourly from prepaid account credit. Add credit via card or crypto from the client dashboard.

What operating systems are supported?

Debian, Ubuntu, FreeBSD, AlmaLinux, and Rocky Linux are available at deploy time.

Do you offer refunds?

Sales are final. There is no money-back guarantee. Account credit purchases and unused prepaid credit are non-refundable except where required by law.

How do I contact support?

Open a ticket from the client dashboard or use the public contact form. Engineers respond 24/7.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

Yes. Pick a larger plan from the dashboard when your workload needs more headroom. Billing moves to the new hourly rate right away, and the extra CPU, RAM, and disk are applied on your next restart.

Where is my data stored?

VPS disks live on Enterprise SAS SSD storage in the Tampa metro data center unless otherwise noted.
